A visit to the Ice Pavilion in Saas-Fee is a wonderful fringe programme for your seminar. It’s not every day that you can peek into the interior of a gigantic glacier. The Mittelallalin stop of the Metro Alpin train is located at 3456 metres above sea level. From here, a 70-metre long tunnel leads you into the enormous ice pavilion. A simulated avalanche with special lighting effects and an awe-inspiring pressure wave makes visiting the ice grotto a unique and adventurous experience.
